Entry Visa to the Sudan
Apply for an entry visa to the Republic of Sudan from the Embassy in Abuja. Review the visa types and their requirements below, choose the one that suits your trip, then complete the online Visa Application Form (Form No. 7), book an appointment, and bring your printed form and supporting documents to the Embassy.
Requirements
- A passport valid for at least 6 months.
- Two recent personal photos.
- A complete visa application form.
- A medical certificate, including yellow fever, hepatitis, and malaria tests.
- A passport copy and any other supporting documents.
Available visa types
Choose the type of visa you want to apply for. Each has its own additional requirements, and your choice is carried into the application form.
- Family visitAn invitation from a sponsor in Sudan, made through the Sudanese Ministry of interior in Khartoum.
- BusinessA letter from a sponsoring company or business partner based in Sudan.
- EducationAn official admission letter from your Sudanese educational institution.
- OfficialsA note verbale from the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.
- StudentsA recent admission from a Sudanese educational institute, and a health certificate.
- VisitorsA clear statement of the purpose of your visit.
Processing and validity
Visa approvals are offered within two weeks (a fortnight). An approved visa is valid for one month and may be extended for a further week if requested before it expires.
Applicable fees are determined by the Embassy and are payable in person. No fee amounts are published on this website.
